Born in Cambridge 1975. Educated at the University of Cambridge, University of Glasgow and Chelsea College of Art and Design. Hugo is a Director at Meadowcroft Griffin Architects, where he has worked since 2004. He has worked previously at Acanthus Clews Architects and Conran Associates, on projects ranging from £150K to £15 million.
At MGA he has been responsible for a range of educational and residential projects, both new build and refurbishment, from inception through to completion on site. These include the current masterplan for Christopher Hatton School, Lauriston Primary School, five Children’s Centres, a £2.5million private residence completed in 2006, and the masterplan for a new sustainable science park in Beijing, China. He has excellent design, team management, technical and project-running skills. He is passionate about sustainable construction and the social and technological aspects of building re-use and recycling.
